I have always loved food! But as a young woman growing up in a superficial world, I wanted my body to look a certain way. I put it through one fitness regime and diet after another. I felt I had to achieve things with my body in order to accept it. Sadly this meant I was often neglecting my own needs and holding myself back from creating a life of balance and happiness and when I reached my late 20’s both my mental and physical health started to suffer. I experienced countless injuries and illnesses, hormonal issues, eating disorders and the breakdown of my personal relationships. I was forced to slow down and this is when my health and healing journey began.
